- Dr. Robert Kurtz, Associate Professor of Surgery and co-Director of Trauma and Surgical Care at Kings County Hospital. Dr. Kurtz performs all major gunshot trauma surgeries for the NYPD and was instrumental in coordinating efforts to save PO Dillon Stewart's life. Despite that Stewart was wearing a bullet-proof vest, he was shot and killed in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
